Where, oh, where have I been?

I promise actual knitting content and then I disapear for two weeks. And let me tell you, I (unfortunately) haven't been on a mad knitting craze. Spring has FINALLY sprung here in the Ocean State and Bear and I have been out enjoying the sunshine. The zoo, the park, walking to the library, the carousel, hunting for treasure at local yard sales. We've been having a blast.

I have actually been knitting a bit too. Here's a sneak peak at something I'm trying to design. I miscounted and bound off the shoulder seams about three inches too soon, so it's not ready for viewing yet.

(I'll post more pics once Mr. Magoo's mom gets a chance to send them to me.)

The Sign on the Door

This is what my MIL left on our front door yesterday afternoon. Fair warning that Andrew and I should have stayed at work until well after bedtime.

P.S. I know you people think I don't knit anymore, but really I do, and tomorrow, I promise some actual knitting content!

It doesn't take much

Today, I got to wear a stethoscope at work. The nurses on my floor are teaching me how to check bowel sounds. (Not a glamorous thing, but something I feel I should know how to do.) I'm positively giddy. Like an eight year old boy who got to ride on a fire truck.

Where do they come up with this stuff?

Driving by the hospital...

Me: Look Bear! That's where you were born.

Bear: Born?

Me: That's where you came out of Mama's tummy.

Bear: Out of Mama's tummy?

Me: Yes. Out of Mama's tummy.

Bear: It dark in Mama's tummy.

Me: It is? Why?

Bear: No lights.

Yoga

Relaxation Pose is not as relaxing with a two year old playing bouncy on your stomach and a dog breathing in your face.
